Four months

Yesterday marked the fourth month since my girl’s passing. Sometimes I find myself calling her name when I come in the house or saying good night as I head to bed. I’m still reminded of her presence everyday. Life is SO very precious and I’m so thankful that I shared many memories and wonderful times with my Dymond.

It was such a wonderful day I knew it had been four months and I smiled and thought of the day fondly, in lieu of being sad. I know Dymond had a lot to do with that. As God continues to give me vision I will continue to pay tribute to ALL pet companions and especially my own.

Dymond you are missed dearly, I love you!image

  1. Awww….lovely tribute. I’m so glad the day was filled with happy memories. I know you miss her terribly. I also know she is happy that your are smiling more and more when you think of all the wonderful memories you two shared.

Sending you love always! And that “Little Stinker” will ALWAYS be remembered here!!!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

  2. What a sweet tribute do Dymond. I tell you a little secret I say good night to all my dogs on the bridge. Sassy gets the first and the last one. Just the way it is. Nothing wrong with that.

Smiling at memories is always better than crying but you will still have those moments.

    1. Thank you Michelle. I’m so glad to know I’m not the only one. I have found so much comfort in knowing I have the love and support of some amazing people.

  3. I’m pretty pawsitive that it’s perfectly normal in our community to talk to our Angel Dogs 🙂 They might not be there physically but they’re around in every other way. And when Dymond saw how you made it through the day with smiles instead of tears, boy she was proud!

The healing power of Dog is the best medicine ever. She’s taught you so well. xoxo
