One year Angelversary

1911955263-20160616-093149249I can hardly believe that one year ago today you crossed the bridge. I was extremely blessed to have such an amazing dog, who was more like my baby and a member of my family. I know in my heart you were happy and I was completely content spending my most memorable moments with you. May you ALWAYS know how much I love and miss you.

Keep eating those apples.

…side note…

Yesterday on the eve of Dymond’s angelversary I saw a dog with four legs, but hopped on three and I saw a smaller dog tripawd. I have not come across any tripawds since I’ve been here, what are the odds of that? I’d like to think it was God’s way of showing me that my girl is in good hands and Dymond letting me know she’s just fine.

Dymond was diagnosed with Histocytic Sarcoma October 2013, she kicked cancer's butt for nearly two years. She gained her wings on June 15, 2015.

  1. Seeing the little tripawd and the “sort of” tripawd! Wnat a great sign from DYMOND! And the timing of the sighting…no doubt a sign! 🙂

Katrina, it’s unbelievable that it’s been a year since Dymond moved to the Bridge. I think it’s because her presence is still felt so strongly here. YOU ARE A WONDERFUL STEWARD OF DYMOND’s LEGACY. You keep her memory alive and she’s soooo proud of you!

This pictures makes me smile sooo big! And no, not because it’s upside down, but because it’s such a happy and joyful picture! 🙂 The way Dymo d is looki g at you….sweet! You both are lot of with happiness!!

On an aside, thank you for sending me updates o. DYMOND’S PAW. It just warms my heart to know you have turned your vision into a reality as a wonderful way to honor your girl. My tavlet is so screwy I couldn’t make the link work to do the contest.

    1. Sally,
Thank you for mentioning the upside down photo, I’ll fix that…lol. She is definitely missed, I think of her every moment of every day. Sometimes knowing how strong she was inspires me to be stronger myself. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I am SO happy I had the pleasure of meeting you. It is not too late to submit your story. Just shoot me an email.

  2. ((((Hugs)))) I know how hard these annivesaries can be. I have been through too many months now without the love of my life and it does get easier but those dates still cut at the heart! You have come SO far !!! You continue to heal and continue to be guided by Dymond. She is always with you!!!

    Much love,
alison with spirit shelby in her heart (and little jasper too)

    1. Alison,
Yes the loss of my girl definitely cuts and it stings, but I do find great comfort in knowing she is with me always! Thank you for your encouraging words.

      Love, hugs and blessings,
      Katrina and Angel Dymond

  3. I have noticed that they send us signs when we most need them. These anniversaries can be tough and not everyone understands. I think she was saying “Mom, I am doing ok!”

    1. I think that is definitely what she did. I love the signs I receive and I’m comforted in knowing she’s in great hands. Thank you for the warm sentiments.

  4. Sending you big hugs Katrina. I know these days hurt. I can’t believe it’s already been a year. I still have that wonderful ornament you did sitting on my shelf I look at it every day and think of you & Dymond.

She sure was giving you lots of signs she is ok.

    (((((hugs)))))

  5. Bless your heart Michelle. When God gave me the vision of Dymond’s Paw that is exactly what I intended for it to do, share the love I have for my girl with other fur babies. Check out my website I have a contest for Dymond’s Angelversary, I’ve extended the deadline.

    Love, hugs and blessings,
    Katrina and Angel Dymond

  6. I wish my Rottie Abby and I could have met you and Dymond, but I know our girls are playing together up there! 6/15 would have been Abby’s second birthday so it was a tough day for me too. I love all that you wrote about Dymond. You were lucky to have each other. I’ll check out Dymond’s Paw – what a lovely idea.

    1. Awww…our girls are absolutely playing together. I’m sorry about your girl. Thank you for your very kind words. I was immensely blessed to have such a wonderful girl. Please check out Dymond’s Paw and let me know what you think.

      Love, hugs and blessings,
      Katrina and Angel Dymond
